ATDWant to find a quick way to save $150?

Why don’t you go sign up now for ATD’s Convention & Expo 2014, set for Jan. 24-27, 2013 in New Orleans? Early-bird registration ends Sunday, Oct. 7, and attendees who sign up this week will receive a $150 discount from the on-site rate.

To this point, ATD says registration for the upcoming convention has exceeded last year’s pace. Attendees planning to stay at the Hilton Riverside – ATD’s headquarters hotel – must register by Sunday’s deadline. The Convention itself will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in downtown New Orleans.

The lineup of keynote speakers includes Lt. Gen. Russel L. Honore (U.S. Army Ret.), commander of the Joint Task Force Katrina and Global Preparedness Authority; Philip Byrd, incoming chairman of the American Trucking Associations; and ATD Chairman Dick Witcher, chief executive officer of Minuteman Trucks in Walpole, Mass.

ATD says the seminar schedule includes the ATD Super Workshop: State of the Truck Industry, which will be presented by Stu Mackay and Robert Dieli from Mackay & Company, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24.
