American Truck Showrooms is adding an Atlanta location next month, the company announced Monday. 

The Georgia dealership – located in Newnan, just south of the Atlanta airport on Interstate 85 – will be the company’s second, following its Gulfport, Miss.-based operation.

The dealership family specializes in used Class 8 trucks sales and rental with and offers Option to Purchase and Rent to Buy programs.

The company’s Gulfport location has set new standards in “green” for truck facilities, using low energy LED lights powered by 24-volt batteries, with traditional electricity only available for trickle charging. The truck wash uses a closed loop system, continually filtering and cleaning the water that is used to wash the 18-wheelers.

The Atlanta location features six concreted acres with a full shop and 6,000 square foot office building and will utilize the same green technologies as its Gulfport parent office.

The company says it plans to add additional locations through out this year and next.
