American Truck Showrooms adding trucks, staff

Jason Cannon June 21, 2013

American Truck Showrooms has expanded its truck inventory, adding a group of 2010 Volvo 670 tractor units.

The trucks are available for the company’s American Dream Program, where truck drivers with little or no credit are able to rent with an option to purchase. American Truck Showrooms, with locations in Atlanta and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, says it has hundreds of truck drivers in this program and they are glad to be expanding it as a result of the success they have had.

Servicing the owner-operator market, American Truck Showrooms has found a niche of truck drivers that are not otherwise able to drive their own trucks.

The company also says it has hired of Scott Royal in the Atlanta Metro Area dealership, located in Newnan, Georgia, where he will serve as a sales consultant. He most recently worked for Harley Davidson in Atlanta.
