American Truck Showrooms adds more rental units

American Truck Showrooms says the company has expanded its rental fleet at its Gulfport and the Atlanta locations to include lower mileage late model Volvos, Peterbilt, Freightliner and Kenworth certified pre-owned Class 8 trucks.

Gulfport recently purchased 15 rigs: nine 2008 Kenworth T660′s, four 2009 Volvo 670′s, one 2010 Peterbilt 386, and one 2007 Peterbilt 379 EXHD.

Atlanta added seven 2009 Peterbilt 387′s and six 2009 Volvo 670′s.

To company says it has purchased more than 180, 2008 to 2011 model trucks during 2013, while rotating older model trucks out of the fleet.

American Truck Showrooms has developed a special niche in the owner-operator market, offering a “Rent to Buy” program.
