Bendix hires Doll

Tom DollBendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has appointed Thomas Doll vice president, Global Purchasing Excellence.

Doll joined Bendix in October 2013. Also a member of the Bendix Leadership Committee, he brings two decades of broad international business experience in global supply chain management in the automotive, heavy-duty truck, and steel tube industries. In his new position, he oversees material cost and supplier relationship management, Bendix says.

“Tom brings a wealth of experience that will be invaluable to Bendix as we navigate today’s supply chain challenges in quality, delivery, and cost,” says Carlos Hungria, chief operating officer and member of the Bendix executive board. “Through his leadership and responsibilities at Benteler and Detroit Diesel, we have seen that Tom has the skills and talent to strengthen and increase the coordination of our global purchasing operation, which plays a more critical role than ever in Bendix’s fiscal health and stability.”
