Bruckner Truck rep wins Mack’s Walk the Bulldog competition

walk_the_bulldogTom Tenseth, of Bruckner Truck Sales, was crowned the overall champion of the 2013 Mack Trucks Walk the Bulldog sales competition in Denver, Colo.

The competition involved a walkaround of a Mack Granite model where competitors were evaluated based on their product knowledge, business solution offerings and presentation skills.

As the grand prize winner, Tenseth was awarded $10,000 as well as a Platinum Level Bulldog Club trip in 2014. The second- and third-place finishers were Stephen Cline, Bruckner Truck Sales and Bill Gross, WW Engine & Supply.

They were awarded $3,000 and $2,000 respectively.

The nine remaining competitors each received $1,000. They were David Bockelman, Central Valley Truck Center; Bob Dow, McDevitt Trucks; Greg Hunter, Lischkge Motors; Howie Long, Sheehan Mack Sales & Equipment; Rick McWhinnie, Performance Equipment; Graham Prohaska, Durham Truck & Equipment; John Schwind, Steele Truck Center; Robert Tennies, Western Truck Center; and Will Ziesmer, Worldwide Equipment.

An additional $1,000 was awarded to the Rookie of the Year, John Schwind, in recognition of his first time competing in the Walk the Bulldog competition.
