Bultemeier joins JOST OE business development team

JOST International has hired Ken Bultemeier, Jr. as director of truck OE business development.

Bultemeier brings with him more than 25 years industry experience, having began his commercial vehicle career with Navistar International Truck and Engine Corporation in 1986 as a design engineer.

“We are thrilled to bring Ken on board and believe his strong background and knowledge of class 8 market applications, chassis engineering and aerodynamics allows us to offer extraordinary value to our OEM and national fleet partners,” Rich Carroll, vice president sales and marketing, says. “We are determined more than ever to offer solutions and expertise combined with global leading fifth wheel technologies. As we move beyond fifth wheels as basic safety devices into advanced integrated systems Ken will lead the way in collaboration with our OEM customers.”

In 2009 Navistar named Bultemeier director, general manager North American product development where he lead future technical product development, coordinated product development teams to support an engineering facility move and consolidated manufacturing from three plants to two.

Bultemeier is a member of TMC, a regular technical speaker at commercial industry forums and has attained several patents related to interior design function and idle management. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
