CNG fueling station opens in Casa Grande, Ariz.

Successful Dealer Staff August 26, 2013

Trillium CNG and Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc. have opened the first public access heavy-duty compressed natural gas station in Casa Grande, Ariz.

The station is located at Golden Eagle distributors, 1000 N. Jefferson Ave. in Casa Grande. Golden Eagle will use the station to fuel its delivery fleet; however, the facility is also open the public, available for fueling 24 hours per day, seven days a week, and is accessible by Class 8 trucks, Trillium says.

“We are excited to support Golden Eagle in its use of a clean, domestic and abundant resource – natural gas – for fueling vehicles, and to help bring natural gas fueling to Casa Grande,” says Mary Boettcher, president, Trillium CNG.

According to the company, the station features Trillium’s patented hydraulic intensifier, providing fleets an ultra-fast refueling experience. All major credit cards and fleet cards will be accepted, and special fuel pricing programs will be available to encourage other fleets in the area to take advantage of the economic and environmental benefits of CNG, Trillium says.

“Making the station available to the public extends those benefits community-wide and make CNG a more viable option for other local fleets and individuals,” says Bill Osteen, senior vice president, Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc.
