ConMet honored by Daimler Trucks

Consolidated Metco (ConMet) recently received Daimler’s (DTNA) Masters of Quality award For the 23rd time in 26 years.

The Masters of Quality award recognizes suppliers that meet or exceed Daimler Truck North America’s quality standards by receiving high scores on their delivery, technology, and cost performance.

“We are honored once again to receive this award,” noted Mark Wagner, ConMet VP of Wheel Ends. “It’s a true testament to our exceptional partnership with Daimler as well as our commitment to excellence at all levels of design, product development, manufacturing and customer service.”

Aside from honoring ConMet’s wheel hub plant in Monroe, NC, for the 23rd year, DTNA also recognized ConMet’s other manufacturing facilities with Masters of Quality awards in 2012, including its aluminum castings plant in Clackamas, Ore. for the 19th year; Manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Mexico for the 1oth year; and drum manufacturing plant in Etowah, Tenn. for the third year.
