Shawn Zwicker, general manager, ReCon Europe and Joint Ventures, Cummins Inc., has been elected as the newest member of the Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) board of directors.  The MERA board now includes 16 leaders in the remanufacturing industry.

Zwicker has more than 20 years of plant manufacturing experience with both original equipment and remanufacturing operations. Since joining the Cummins remanufacturing organization — known as ReCon — Zwicker has held a variety of leadership positions including division controller, executive director of operations and strategy, general manager of international operations, leader of new business development, and most recently as general manager, ReCon Europe and Joint Ventures.

Prior to re-joining Cummins in the ReCon organization, he worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers as a principal consultant in the Cost Management and Operations Strategy practice.

“Shawn brings valuable experience to the MERA board of directors,” says John Chalifoux, president and COO, MERA. “We look forward to working closely with him and his team at Cummins to advance the remanufacturing industry.”
