Western Star may have been tapped for the lead in the upcoming Transformers 4 movie, but a Freightliner model made at Daimler’s Cleveland, N.C. plant figures to get plenty of screen time.

Our sister site, CCJ, reported last month action filmaker Michael Bay has tabbed a Western Star tractor to serve as Autobot hero Opitmus Prime’s secret identity.

However, a 2014 Freightliner Argosy cab-over – modified from the Argosy the Freightliner plant produces for international markets — will join the franchise in an as-of-now undisclosed role.

The Autobots aren't the only things transforming in the upcoming Transformers release. Western Star takes over the lead role of Optimus Prime.
