Dana honored by Hino

Successful Dealer Staff June 18, 2014

DanaDana Holding Corporation has been recognized by Hino Trucks with its Excellence in Quality Improvement Award.

Dana accepted the award, which recognizes superior improvement in parts-per-million (PPM) defect performance, at Hino’s annual supplier business meeting this month.

Dana supplies driveshafts to Hino from assembly facilities in Lima, Ohio, and Jodalli, Karnataka, India.  These products are used on a wide range of Hino medium-duty trucks as well as Toyota Tundra pickup trucks, the company says.

“Our commitment to quality is unmatched in the commercial-vehicle market, which is why leading truck manufacturers like Hino turn to Dana for innovative driveline products that deliver superior performance,” says Pat D’Eramo, president of Dana Commercial Vehicle Driveline Technologies.  “This quality award from Hino validates our continuous, systematic approach to process improvement and the long-term value we deliver to manufacturers and vehicle buyers alike.”
