Diamond International completes Missouri expansion

Diamond InternationalDiamond International of Springfield recently held its grand opening ribbon cutting event featuring NASCAR driver Jamie McMurray at its new location at 2635 E. Diamond Street in Springfield, Mo.

The event was attended by more than 400 customers, suppliers and employees. Bob Stephens, mayor of Springfield, Rob Dixon, president of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and a representative from the Springfield Business Development Corp., assisted Richard Sweebe, Diamond Companies president and CEO in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The new dealership has many key features that will improve efficiency, vehicle uptime and the customer experience, Diamond says, among them: 15 drive-thru service bays and a fully enclosed CNG/LNG bay to work on natural gas vehicles, a full length drive through wash bay, dedicated Accelerated Service bays, a DPF cleaning machine, more than 20,000 sq. ft. of parts storage and a comfortable drivers’ lounge with flat screen TV, wireless internet access and free Wi-Fi.

Diamond International also believes in protecting the environment and has built in environmentally-friendly features including a heating system utilizing recycled waste oil, energy saving lighting systems, and the latest in energy efficient insulation and window products, the company says. The location is open seven days a week.
