Diesel prices continue climb

Diesel prices jumped 8.2 cents to $4.104 a gallon, the Department of Energy said Monday.

Monday’s jump marks the fourth consecutive increase and the settles diesel at its highest price since October.

It’s been a rough few weeks at the pump as Monday’s spike comes only seven days after a 9.5-cent increase.

The cost of diesel fuel currently is 16.1 cents higher than the same week last year.
