Diesel prices stop 7 week slide

The national average retail diesel price increased 0.8-cent to $3.902 a gallon during the week ended Jan. 21, according to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration. This week’s price bump represents the first increase in seven weeks and is only the second increase in the past 14 weeks. The latest weekly price is 5.4 cents above the same week last year.
