EcoDual names former Tesla, Chrysler exec CEO

 EcoDual, Inc., a provider of dual fuel systems for heavy-duty, Class 8 trucks, has appointed Mike Donoughe company President and Chief Executive Officer.

Donoughe has led multiple teams in vehicle engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality, and his role as executive vice president at Tesla contributed to the introduction of the first highway-capable, all-electric car in the world.

Additionally, during his time as vice president at Chrysler, Donoughe led the product teams responsible for highly successful vehicles including the 2005 Dodge and Chrysler minivans, the 2007 Jeep Wrangler and the 2009 Dodge Ram.

Donoughe was COO of Bright Automotive from 2010 to 2012, a company that focused on the design and manufacture of a plug-in, hybrid electric, commercial vehicle. He is a principal of Third Shore Group, which is focused on commercialization of technologies for start-up to mid-sized firms.
