Four Star Freightliner earns Elite Support status

Jason Cannon September 26, 2013

Four Star Freightliner, of Dothan, Ala., has received the Elite Support status from Daimler Trucks of North America.

The Dothan location becomes the second Four Star facility to earn Elite Certification. The Tallahassee, Fla. location was awarded Elite Status earlier this year and the final three Four Star Freightliner locations – Montgomery Ala., Tifton, Ga. and Valdosta Ga. – are set for certification by the beginning of 2014.

To become Elite Support Certified, dealers must go through a stringent process that requires them to demonstrate proficiency in service and parts processes, technical and operational training, and customer amenities. All of the current standards are focused on providing a superior customer service experience from participating locations.

Four Star Freightliner’s Tallahassee and Dothan locations are two of only 113 dealers nationwide that have received the Elite Support status.

As part of the designation, Daimler says, customers can expect an “express assessment” which requires the dealer to diagnose a single technical problem within two hours of the truck’s arrival along with an array of customer amenities to support the customer.

All certified locations must sustain and meet the criteria each year to continue the designation.

Four Star Freightliner represents Freightliner, Western Star and Mitsubishi Fuso truck brands as well as service certifications for Detroit, Cummins and Caterpillar engines. Four Star is a full service dealer with five locations: Dothan and Montgomery, Tallahassee, Florida and Tifton and Valdosta, GA.
