Four Star Freightliner salesman receives ‘Elite’ designation

Jason Cannon January 22, 2014

ingramTruman Ingram, utility & municipal account manager for Montgomery, Ala.-based Four Star Freightliner, received one of his industry’s highest honors.

Ingram, who has received numerous other awards and recognition, was named an Elite Winner for 2013 during the Leland James Sales Achievement Program.

“I was surprised”, Ingram says of receiving an award based on the total number of units sold. “I was not expecting it whatsoever. It’s nice that your hard work is recognized by Freightliner corporate and that they do something like that for you.”

Ingram and more than 19 other Elite winners were treated to a trip and special awards ceremony in Charleston, S.C. Ten of those winners were selected for on-highway sales. Ingram was chosen because of vocational (utility & municipal) sales.

As for winning the award again, Ingram said that Four Star is headed in that direction.

“This year is shaping up to be better than last year,” he says.
