Freightliner app available for multiple mobile devices

Jason Cannon June 21, 2013

photoFreightliner Trucks Thursday announced that its new “History of Innovation” app is now available for iPhone, iPad, Android, Nook and Kindle users.

The free app features an interactive timeline with videos, graphics and images highlighting Freightliner products and its history of innovation in the commercial vehicle industry. The app also includes a game, allowing users to test their puzzle-solving skills through a series of truck image blocks that need to be arranged in a specific order. Users’ scores are based on time and fewest moves made, with each puzzle in the series becoming increasingly more difficult.

The app also has a dealer locator that provides a complete listing of all Freightliner Trucks dealerships and contact information, based on the user’s current location or by entering a city, state or zip code. Detailed product information, base specs and a gallery of truck images are also included.

“Our customers are using sophisticated mobile tools that keep them productive on the road and provide entertainment, and our new app is a convenient and accessible resource that also celebrates our legacy of innovation,” said David Marx, manager, brand development for Freightliner Trucks.

iPhone, iPad, Android, Nook and Kindle users can download the free Freightliner “History of Innovation” app in their respective App Stores.
