Freightliner begins production on severe duty truck

freightliner_SDFreightliner Trucks announced at the Great American Trucking Show last week it has started full production on its 122 severe duty truck.

Freightliner says its 122SD is the flagship of the company’s severe duty line of vocational trucks.

According to our sister site, Hard Working Trucks, the 122SD has a GVWR of up to 92,000 pounds and a GCWR of up to 160,000 pounds, and is ideal for heavy/oversize hauling, logging, oil/gas field service, crane, dump, towing/recovery and vocational on-highway applications, the company says.
