Freightliner dealer puts support behind Toys for Tots for 12th year

Jason Cannon November 8, 2013

Publication5River States Truck and Trailer has thrown its support behind Toys for Tots for the 12th consecutive year, launching a campaign to collect donations of new or gently used toys for less fortunate children in Wisconsin communities where they do business.

River States has contributed in excess of $10,000 toward this cause since 2001 through weekly collections of $2 from employees who wear jeans on Fridays.

At the beginning of November, all employee contributions from the year are matched by River States and used to purchase toys for deserving families. Many employees go above the $2 donations and also donate toys to the effort.
