Jason Cannon July 2, 2014

Movie_Premiere1Four Star Freightliner treated its customers, employees and their families to a viewing of “Transformers: Age of Extinction” during the movie’s opening weekend.

The Montgomery, Ala.-based dealership rented out an auditorium at the AMC Festival Plaza 16 in town for the showing.

“It is not often when our truck and brand is the star of a movie,” said Jerry Kocan, dealer principal at Four Star Freightliner. “The customers, employees and their families were able to cheer for Optimus Prime as he and his team prevailed over evil.”

The new Transformers movie features a Western Star truck as Optimus Prime, one of the movie’s main characters. Another character in the movie, Galvatron, was a Freightliner truck.

The guests who were invited to the movie received several gifts including Four Star Freightliner key chains, pens, Western Star/Optimus Prime posters and specially-designed Optimus Prime hats.
