UnknownFreightliner has tapped its dealership network to host a celebration for cities in both the U.S. and Canada that are investing in infrastructure and economic growth to revitalize communities.

Freightliner Trucks named the Work Truck Show’s host city, Indianapolis, Ind., its first “Hardest Working City” honoree Wednesday at the show itself, and a celebration will kick off at Indianapolis-based Stoops Freightliner March 6. Coffee and donuts will be delivered to selected jobsites around the city that morning as part of the celebration.

As part of the campaign, Freightliner dealerships in each of the honoree cities will host celebratory events, which will include coffee and donut visits to high-profile jobsites.

Freightliner says cities to be honored by the new program were selected based on 11 different criteria ranging from impact on overall gross domestic product to employment growth and performance in key industry sectors such as construction, manufacturing and logistics.

Other cities will be recognized throughout the year.
