Karmak Fusion debuts to strong sales
Karmak announces it is finding success with the Fusion platform, its newest business management system. With 40 clients currently running their businesses on the platform, the year is off to a strong start.
“The planning and execution of our Sure Start implementation program is proving to ease the stress of moving to a new business system for our clients,” says Mike York, vice president of operations.
The Sure Start implementation program at Karmak includes project management, system and software configuration, data conversion, installation, online training, and training for the Bring-Live on-site at the client’s locations, the company says.
According to Jerry Eaton, CFO at City Trailer, “Implementation was very smooth. The trainers were very knowledgeable and brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to our training sessions.”
In addition to making the transition seamless, Karmak says clients are discovering Fusion is making an immediate impact on their business. From being able to zero in on inventory control to having visibility to a unit’s availability in real-time, clients are making improvements to their daily operations and realizing more profits.
“Fusion has forced us to begin digging deeper into some of the information provided that we didn’t have before and we are growing as a result of it,” says Jeff Picard, general manager at Western States Truck Center.
Looking forward, Karmak says it has more installations on its schedule for 2014 than any previous year since the company was founded in 1981.
