Karmak publishes service profitability white paper

Karmak has released the newest post in its new Thought Leadership series, “Using Data to Increase Service Profit.”

Available HERE, the paper was written by Karmak’s team of Adam Madsen, manager of product management, and Jason Goby, product owner.

In it, the duo breaks down five specific types of data that must be tracking to maximize your shop profitiability:

  • Sales by repair group and repair type,
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Effective labor rate
  • Repair order age
  • Days since labor last added

“They say numbers never lie and that’s true when it comes to data in your service shop,” the duo concludes. “Look into some of the data we have discussed, analyze it, learn what it means, and put it to good use. Armed with this information, you have the opportunity to take profits within your operation to the next level.”
