Kenworth adding second fuel tank option

Kenworth’s announced Friday it will offer an option of a second 45-gallon fuel tank on its K270 and K370 medium duty cabover trucks, according to a report published by Hard Working Trucks.

The company says a second rectangular fuel tank for its K270 and K370 uses approximately 28 inches of frame space and is available on trucks with 19.5-inch tires and wheelbases of 166, 178, 190, 202, 214, 226 and 238 inches, or with 22.5-inch tires and wheelbases of 170, 182, 194, 206, 218, 230 and 242 inches.
