Achieving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction and top scores in Peterbilt’s Standards of Excellence program have helped Martin’s Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky win the 2013 North American Peterbilt Parts and Service Dealer of the Year. Peterbilt recently announced the award during its annual Dealer Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas.

“Martin’s Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky has an excellent reputation for treating customers professionally and completing service work quickly and accurately,” says Darrin Siver, Peterbilt general manager and Paccar vice president. “They take advantage of all training opportunities – including for the Paccar MX-13 engine – and utilize Paccar Parts and TRP products to maximize customer uptime and minimize costs. Additionally, their operations are extremely efficient and they have an absorption rate well over 100 percent.”

Terry Martin, dealer principal of Martin’s Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky, accepted the award.

“We always strive to go the extra mile for our customers to ensure their vehicles are up and running efficiently and profitably,” says Martin. “We’re pleased to be recognized by Peterbilt and Paccar Parts for our investment and effort to be leaders in aftermarket care for our customers.”

Martin’s Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky was also recognized for growing its parts purchase volume, including its share of TRP products, Peterbilt says.

“Terry and his staff do an excellent job at optimizing inventory to help ensure they have what customers need, when they need it,” says David Danforth, Paccar Parts general manager. “They led the Peterbilt dealer network and achieved outstanding results in every performance category.”
