Jason Cannon March 18, 2013

The 42nd annual Mid-America Trucking Show is expected to draw upwards of 70,000 attendees to the Kentucky Exposition Center this week, the Louisville Courier-Journal reported.

More than 1,000 exhibitors will showcase trucking products in what is billed as the “world’s largest heavy-duty trucking event”.

The newspaper reported the economic impact to the Louisville area is expected to exceed $14 million.

Exhibitors will include all major truck and engine manufacturers, trailer manufacturers and other product and service providers.

Show hours are: Thursday, March 21, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (VIPs only), and 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. for industry representatives, Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The trade show is an industry-only event and not intended for the general public and the show and related events will occupy nearly all of the exhibit space at the fairgrounds.
