MHC Kenworth doubling size in Chattanooga

Jason Cannon August 29, 2013

MHC Kenworth is moving to a new, larger Chattanooga, Tenn. site that will double its size and increase its exposure.

Bobby Bethune, branch manager of MHC Kenworth Chattanooga told the Times Free Press the new nine acre site will more than double its square footage – to 60,000 square feet – and boost its workforce by nearly 30 employees.

The facility will sell new and used heavy and medium-duty trucks and house 30 state-of-the-industry service and body shop bays and expand its retail parts offerings.

Chattanooga serves as home to two trucking giants.

U.S. Xpress was recently ranked the No. 11 fleet in the CCJ Top 250, and Covenant Transportation was ranked No. 33.
