MHC Kenworth named top engine dealer

Successful Dealer Staff March 4, 2014

MHC Kenworth – Kansas City received the 2013 Paccar Engine Dealer of the Year award for the United States and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting, held recently in Bellevue, Wash.

In the three years the award has been given out, MHC has earned it twice. The award encompasses MHC Kenworth – Kansas City locations in Columbia, Kansas City and St. Joseph, Mo., and Olathe and Topeka, Kan. MHC Kenworth – Kansas City was also selected from among Kenworth’s five Gold Award winners for 2013.

“MHC has had great success with the Paccar MX-13 engine due to its outstanding performance in fuel economy and drivability,” says CEO Tim Murphy. “We are honored to receive Kenworth’s Paccar Engine Dealer of the Year award. This award is a testament to our commitment to our customers to help them realize the value of the MX, provide them with world-class service, and do Whatever It Takes to support them every day.”

MHC Kenworth has built its business on the belief that customer loyalty is only as strong as customer service, the company says. This focus has helped MHC Kenworth – Kansas City trained employees to possess a passion and strong dedication to serving customers and achieve the fastest turnaround time on customer concerns.

The ability to engage customers and sell all the benefits of spec’ing a Paccar MX-13 engine helped establish MHC Kenworth – Kansas City as a top performer. MHC says it also provides extended hours and outstanding service to PACCAR MX customers through trained technicians and sales personnel.

“It is a great honor once again for our company to receive this award,” says Regional Vice President Steve Mayhe. “With the number of Paccar MX engines running in the Midwest, we continue to provide superior customer service, convenient locations and extended hours to meet our customers’ expectations.”
