NationaLease revamps career website

Successful Dealer Staff July 25, 2013

NationaLease has improved its career website for truck leasing companies.

“Since we launched the new page, we have had more than 50 job posted so far, which is a huge improvement over the previous page” says Jane Clark, vice president of member services.

Among other upgrades, she credits the new standardized posting form that asks prospective employers to supply certain information with each job offer, meant to stimulate the interest of job seekers.

“First we ask employers to describe their business. Next, we ask them to tell job seekers what benefits they offer them. There’s also a section entitled ‘What You’ll Do’ and another headlined ‘What We’re Looking For.’ We think the user-friendly format and wording is what’s encouraging the increased use of the page,” she says.

Another major improvement over the early site is initially less evident but ultimately more significant to employers and applicants alike, NationaLease says.

“We had our IT staff at NationaLease connect every posting to job aggregator sites like Indeed.com so that the maximum number of qualified applicants becomes aware of the job openings,” says Clark.
