NTDA announces 2009-2010 board election results

Members of the National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA) recently elected one candidate to an Allied position and one to a Dealer position on the Association’s Board of Directors. The newly elected directors will start their three-year terms at the Board Reorganization Meeting in October.

The NTDA board is composed of 12 members, nine elected from the dealer membership category and three elected from the allied membership category.

Duff Bell, software applications specialist, Karmak, Inc., is the new allied director. He has worked in the trailer industry for 33 years and has been in his current position for 10 years.

Dave Tomasello, executive vice president, Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc. is the new dealer director. He has worked in the trailer industry and served in his current position for 20 years.

At its April 2009 meeting, the board elected officers to serve one-year terms beginning at the October Board Reorganization Meeting. Holly Hale, president of Country Supply Trailers, Inc., was elected to serve as 2009-2010 President. Dave Boyd, president/COO of Aero Industries, was elected to serve as First Vice President. Rob Velthouse, vice president of L&V Trailer Sales, was elected to serve as Second Vice President. Mike Dye, president of Southwest Trailers & Equipment, was elected to serve as Secretary/Treasurer.

At the October board meeting, Dealer member Elvin Spellman and Allied member Keith Limback will retire.
