The company was started in 1985 by Larry and Linda Lewis in Lincoln, Neb., and in 1995 the Lewis added a location in Lexington Nebraska.   Both companies have 40 employees combined.

“The businesses are well run and carry the same high standards RDO Truck Centers have achieved in customer service,” the company said through a release Monday. “These acquisitions will help leverage RDO Truck Centers’ current strengths and provide better service to our current and new customers.”

RDO Truck Centers currently operates five Mack and Volvo dealerships across North Dakota and a Mack location in Omaha, Neb.
