Ritchie Bros. CEO stepping down

After more than 20 years with Ritchie Bros. – the last nine as its CEO – Peter Blake announced that he will step down in May.

“In thinking about the company’s next step, and my own professional future, I have decided that the time is right for a new CEO to lead Ritchie Bros. into the exciting next phase that is ahead,” Blake said according to our sister site, Equipment World. “I see a great future for this company.”

Blake will remain CEO while the company’s Board of Directors searches for a replacement, and the company says Internal and external candidates will be considered.
