Jason Cannon July 8, 2013

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers announced Monday its president, Rob Mackay, will retire effective Oct. 31, capping a 28 year career.

“Rob has contributed very effectively in so many ways to the success and growth of our company,” Ritchie Bros. CEO Peter Blake said. “Earlier in the year, Rob took a role on the board of an agricultural equipment dealer with a view to transition to the next phase in his business career.”

Ritchie Bros. says it is the world’s largest auctioneer of used equipment for construction, transportation, agricultural, material handling, energy, mining, forestry, marine and other industries.
