press release - sarahfecht.pubRiver States Truck and Trailer-Freightliner has hired Sarah Fecht as Director of Human Resources & Recruiting for River States Truck and Trailer and its affiliated companies La Crosse Truck Center and Minnesota Truck and Trailer.

“I feel that Sarah will help us attract and retain a higher level of employee than the industry has normally attracted,” company president Joe Laux says, adding in her first weeks at River States Fecht expanded the company’s Diesel Technician Scholarship Program in La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Hudson, Wis. and Minneapolis, Minn.

The expansion allows a student to be reimbursed for 75 percent of their college tuition and provides them with a part-time job while attending school and full-time employment after graduation.

Fecht says she hopes the change would expose many young adults to the full opportunities and advantages truck dealerships offer.

“We are hiring top guns and paying them a fabulous wage while they get theoretical training in school, subsidizing tuition, and offering them full-time employment after graduation,” Fecht says.
