Rush Enterprises to announce earnings next week

Jason Cannon October 15, 2013

Rush Enterprises Inc., operators of the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in North America, will host a conference call to discuss earnings for the third quarter Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. (EST)

In the second quarter, Rush’s Class 8 retail sales — which accounted for 4.4 percent of the U.S. market — decreased by 26 percent over the same time period in 2012.

For the previous two quarters, Rush’s aftermarket business has been booming as truck sales slid.

At the end of the second quarter, Rush posted year-to-date sales of $1.5 billion, down slightly from $1.6 billion during the same period in 2012.
