Ryder opens new maintenance, rental facility

Ryder System, Inc. announced Monday the grand opening of its new maintenance and rental facility in Anchorage, Alaska – the company’s first operating location in the area.

The facility provides maintenance and rental services for commercial vehicle fleets, and features two and a half service bays and the capability to support EPA 2010 engines with maintenance and diesel exhaust fluid.

“Ryder is thrilled to expand in Alaska and have the capacity to better serve the company’s growing customer base there,” Ryder’s SVP of Sales and Marketing, John Gleason, says. “We look forward to continued growth in the state and working to ensure that our customers have access to the latest in maintenance technologies, expert technicians and a wide selection of rental vehicles.”

The location is open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A grand opening event for the facility will be held Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Mountain Time.
