Southern Connecticut Freightliner earns Elite Support recognition

Successful Dealer Staff June 13, 2014

Southern Connecticut Freightliner has achieved Elite Support certification from Daimler Trucks North America.

“This is a big, big day for Southern Connecticut Freightliner and our customers” says Michael Beauton, executive vice president. “We have been focused on building a durable competitive advantage in the marketplace and Elite Support is a cornerstone of that strategy.”

Elite Support is a customer focused way of doing business that utilizes continuous improvement methodology to drive operational excellence according to Diane Linderman, Continuous Improvement Coordinator at DTNA.

DTNA measures a dealer in 134 different operational areas and the dealer must achieve a 100 percent score to be awarded Elite Support status. SCF is only the second dealer in New England to achieve such status to date, the company says.
