Southern Connecticut Freightliner, through its sponsorship of last week’s The Dream Ride – a philanthropic endeavor that raises money for Special Olympics – helped raise more than $1.1 million dollars for Special Olympians.

“Almost every day we are presented with opportunities to participate in  great causes but none resonate with our coworkers like the Dream Ride does,” SCF CEO Matthew McConnell says. “When you see the pride with which they carry themselves, the sheer joy these athletes experience from competition, you can’t help but want to be a part of that experience. We’re very grateful to the Adam J. Bozzuto Foundation for allowing us to be part of this wonderful event.”
