Southland International hosts Congressman at opening

SouthlandDrew Linn, 2013 ATD Truck Dealer of the Year and owner of Southland International Trucks, last week hosted a grand opening for his dealership near Huntsville, Ala., which included a visit from U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.).

Linn discussed the expanded investment he has made in Huntsville and introduced Rep. Brooks to his staff and customers.

The policy issues discussed included recent changes in federal truck emissions standards, ATD’s opposition to higher excise taxes on heavy-duty trucks and possible tax reform in Congress this fall.
