Jason Cannon September 26, 2013

stahl_peteA crowd of more than 1,000 people descended on Stahl Peterbilt Saturday as the company celebrated its 10th anniversary.

“We served over 1000 scoops of ice cream. I can tell you that for sure,” Stahl Parts Manager Brent Lawrence says of the festivities that included food, music, and a magician among other things.

The company also unveiled a customized 2014 Model 389 in recognition of the dealership’s milestone.

“It was done as a one-off, just for the 10th anniversary,” Lawrence says.

“(Dealer Principal and President Eddy Stahl) wanted to showcase the pre-delivery department…wanted to let them have some fun with it.”

The end result was a highly customized, tricked out unit that currently sits on the showroom floor.

“There’s been some interest in (buying) it,” Lawrence says, “but I think we’ll hang on to it a little while. But I feel like it will be sold sooner rather than later.”
