Stoops Freightliner launches new AltFuel website

Jason Cannon January 30, 2014

altfuelIndianapolis Stoops Freightliner has launched a new new alternative fuel website, StoopsAltFuels.com.

The new website is the latest chip Stoops has tossed onto the table as it embraces alternative fuel technologies.

Stoops Freightliner-Quality Trailer of Indianapolis opened its new CNG/LNG service facility in the summer, and signed a dealer agreement with NGV Motori USA, LLC, an OEM in the aftermarket conversion kit and engine markets.

“Our first goal (with the website) is to drive customers to our alternative fuels program,” says Stoops Marketing Specialist Dale Spence, “whether they are buying new equipment or having conversion done.”

Spence says the company also hopes the site becomes a destination for fleets hoping to learn about the use of alternative fuels, engines, tanks and conversions.

“Ideally, we see it as a way to become a resource for consumers of this technology,” he says.
