The full service Freightliner and Western Star dealer said access to its former 40,000 square feet location was inhibited and was not well-suited for Elite Support certification.
Lonestar Truck Group says its Texarkana Truck Center’s new multi-million dollar facility was created and designed around the Elite Support model, with all facets of the building designed to be more customer-friendly and more efficient for the employees.
Lonestar Truck Group says their facility is among the first of its kind constructed and engineered to the Elite Support model.
“At the core of Elite Support are customer focused criteria (127 points) that can be met by dealerships of all sizes and locations,” says Dan Stevens, COO and a partner in the Lonestar Truck Group. “These criteria cover a number of operational areas, including amenities, facilities up-keep and cleanliness, service processes, parts processes and customer follow up and communication processes. All criteria are focused on the customer’s experience. Dealers are audited to these standards to certify as Elite Support and are re-audited to the standards annually by a third party consulting company.”
The new facility features a 67,000 square feet facility on 9.87 acres with a parts shopping area of more than 7,500 square feet, offering parts for all brands and makes of trucks.
The new service shop features a Power Test Dyno machine, which shows internal problems with the engine, oil pressure and temperatures.
Texarkana Truck Center has four service bays dedicated for Express Assessment, which guarantees diagnosis within 2 hours of a truck’s arrival to the shop. There is also a trailer repair shop dedicated to trailer repairs.
The site features ample driver parking and driver’s lounge with free Wi-fi.
