Why do I read Successful Dealer?  It is the only publication dedicated specifically to truck dealers and whose writers take the time to research and visit with truck dealers so they understand the issues facing us today.  I particularly enjoy reading the editor’s comments each month that are always pertinent to the issues of the day and express real world sentiments felt by the majority of truck dealers.  The featured articles and industry updates are timely and informative and most usually spark conversation among my management staff.  There is a balance of coverage for all manufacturers, but the overriding theme is always about how dealers are being affected either positively or negatively by the actions of their OEM’s or changes in the economy and industry.  The number of truck dealers continue to dwindle, but it is my hope that Successful Dealer will continue to be the voice of dealer in the truck publication industry.
