ThermoKing celebrates anniversary at NYSE

Ingersoll-Rand Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael W. Lamach rang the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange Friday in celebration of two milestone anniversaries within the Ingersoll Rand family of brands.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications, and the 100th anniversary of Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services, and the

“As the 12th oldest continuously listed company on the New York Stock Exchange, we are honored to ring the Closing Bell of today’s trading,” said Lamach. “We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the incredible histories of Thermo King and Trane.”

Senior leaders from Ingersoll Rand and its Thermo King and Trane businesses joined Lamach in ringing the closing bell, including Didier Teirlinck, president of Climate Solutions, Thermo King and Trane commercial, and Gary Michel, president of Residential Solutions, Trane residential and Schlage residential.
