Three Truck Centers, Inc. employees honored among Freightliner’s best

Jason Cannon October 17, 2013

Three of Truck Centers, Inc. (TCI) salespersons have been recognized by Freightliner as part of its Leland James program.

Only 56 individuals honored in the U.S. and Canada were recognized.

John Patkunas, of TCI-Morton, was recognized with a Top-50 plaque; Joe Switzer, of TCI-Troy, with a Top-20 plaque and sales trip; and Ron Donze, of TCI-Troy, with a Top-20 plaque and sales trip.

Created in 2003 and named after Freightliner Truckers’ founder Leland James, the program recognizes and rewards outstanding vocational and on-highway sales results from dealerships in the United States and Canada. Achievement is based on successful sales but also takes into consideration other criteria including total number of customers, type of trucks sold and training certification.

During the award announcement, Ron Donze was also recognized as the only sales professional to win the Leland James Award every year since its inception.
