Jason Cannon January 3, 2014

Timpte opened its newest service branch in Bloomington, Ill. this month, an 11,000 sq.-ft. facility.

The new location features a six bay shop, over-the-counter parts, and a large area for new and used grain trailers. The new location sets a quarter mile west of I-55/74 on Ill. Route 9 and has easy access and ample amount of truck and trailer parking.

“I couldn’t be more excited about the new location,” says Rob Gerbitz, branch operations manager. “Our commitment to Illinois is not just selling grain trailers, but making sure each and every customer is taken care of when they need us the most. My team is working diligently to earn the trust of our customers now and into the future.”

Timpte, also opened a new sales office in Madison, Wis. and promoted Ben Jacobson as the company’s Wisconsin Factory Direct Sales Representative, where he will be responsible for selling new and used bulk commodity trailers throughout the entire state of  Wisconsin.

Jacobson comes with an extensive background in the transportation industry, and has 4 years of experience with Timpte as the Used Trailer Manager. In this roll Ben was exposed to selling a wide variety of trailer brands along with maintaining strong relationships with our dealer and wholesaler network.

“Ben has had an impressive career with Timpte which makes him a perfect fit for this role,” says Perry Rittenbach, vice president of sales. “Ben’s hard work ethic and his commitment to his customers will only strength our position in the Wisconsin market.”

In order to support Ben’s sales efforts in Wisconsin, Timpte says it has partnered with Alliance Trailer Service to handle customer’s parts and service needs.
