Truck Dealer of the Year nominee: William Don Larson

William Don Larson, CEO and owner of Allstate Peterbilt Group, in Wayzata, Minn., was named one of six finalists for the American Truck Dealers (ATD) 2014 Truck Dealer of the Year.

Larson originally founded Allstate Peterbilt Group in 1971 and the company has grown from a single location with a single truck in Bloomington, Minn. to an industry leader in parts, service and sales of all types of medium and heavy duty trucks and equipment with 20 locations throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Ohio.

The dealership was named Peterbilt Dealer of the Year, TRP Direct Connect Dealer of the Year, Paccar Best in Class, Paccar Platinum Oval and Paccar North America’s Parts and Service Dealer of the Year last year. The group was also awarded Paccar’s MX Dealer of the Year and Best New Facility awards in 2011.

Larson has supported and contributed to several organizations, including Amigos of Acapulco, March Children’s Home, HOBY Leadership Organization, The Salvation Army, Special Olympics and the Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights. The dealership group also provides all transportation needed for Toys for Tots in the Twin Cities.
