Utility Trailer adds new dealer

Jason Cannon September 13, 2013

Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company has opened Utility Trailers de Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.

Utility Trailers de Andes is a wholly owned subsidiary of Utility Trailer de Mexico S.A. de C.V., and the dealership is a part of Utility’s independent dealer network of more than 100 locations throughout the Americas.

“The new location plans to follow the Mexico business model. Just as Mexico did 20 years ago, Colombia is in the process of developing more modern trailer fleets,” says Gabriel Garcia Diaz, President of Utility Trailer de Mexico. “Colombia is the door to South America and has a growing economy, which makes it an ideal location for a new Utility dealership.”

The new location in Colombia is 2,260 square feet and consists of one trailer bay and a parts department. There are currently five employees at the location, including two salesmen and a parts manager.
